MY NAME IS KERRY RAMIREZ.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and earned my Master’s in Counseling and Art Therapy at Adler University.
Prior to opening the doors of Life in Color Counseling LLC, I have experience providing both traditional psychotherapy and art therapy in community mental health (in-home), inpatient hospitalization and group private practice settings.
my philosophy
I believe that the goal of psychotherapy is to build a trusting relationship by learning each client’s story - their background, their current experience, their strengths, and their challenges. I believe in providing a non-judgmental, creative, open environment for clients to express themselves.
I specialize in working with anxiety and avoidant behaviors, depression, self-harm, disrupted attachment, mood disorders, and self-esteem.
I primarily implement CBT, Art Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Together, we use clinically proven techniques to help craft a new story - One where you are able to face the challenges and begin shaping a new future.
